Together · Beyond our limits
Systems built to expand your business.
We build software for one outcome:
Return 3 to 5 times your investment.
01 · The problem
Hourly billing works — for the agency.
When software is sold by the hour, time spent is the product. The result becomes optional.
The meter, not the goal
Hourly billing pays for time spent, not results produced. The longer it takes, the more it costs you.
Runaway invoices
Scope grows, estimates slip, and the invoice grows with them — while the outcome stays uncertain.
Accountability, unclear
When the project ends, nobody can point at the number it moved. You paid for effort, not for change.
02 · The model
Priced for a 3–5x return on your investment.
The value is projected together and the price negotiated with you in the meetings — before any code is written.
01
Baseline
Together we record where your company stands today — the metric that hurts, and the money behind it. No metrics yet? We set up the measuring first: what’s not measured can’t be improved.
02
Solution
We agree on the software that will improve that metric — scope, shape, and what it replaces.
03
Projected value
We define the expected improvement together and translate it into money per year for your business.
04
Price on value
We agree a fixed price sized against that projection — so the first-year value returns 3 to 5 times your investment.
03 · Results
What we measure.
This is what a result looks like to us: a baseline, a target, and the difference — in your numbers, not ours.
EXAMPLE · DISPATCH · LOGISTICS
- Baseline
- 14 h/week
- Result
- 45 min/week
Manual dispatch replaced with a routing system that pays for itself monthly.
EXAMPLE · INVOICING · SERVICES
- Baseline
- 9 days
- Result
- 2 days
From month-end close to invoice sent — cash flow moved up a week.
EXAMPLE · QUOTES · DISTRIBUTION
- Baseline
- 48 h
- Result
- Same day
Quotes go out the day they’re requested — deals stop going cold in the inbox.
04 · What we build
Built for the number it moves.
Full-stack engineering, described the way it lands in your operation — not as a tech stack.
Hours back, every week
Operations automation — the manual work between systems (dispatch, billing, inventory) done by software.
One source of truth
Integrations — your existing tools connected, so numbers match and nothing is typed twice.
Software shaped to your business
Custom platforms — when off-the-shelf tools almost fit but force workarounds, we build the system that matches how you actually operate.
Decisions on live numbers
Data and reporting — the state of the business on one screen, current and trusted.
05 · Why Xpansive
Aligned incentives, senior judgment.
- We only win when you do — the price is sized against the value the software creates, aiming at a 3–5x return for you, never a running meter.
- An AI-augmented studio: the speed of a large team, the judgment of one senior mind on everything.
- No middlemen, no agency overhead — you talk to the person who designs and builds.
- The code is yours. Complete, documented, in production.
06 · The path
From conversation to running software.
01
Recognition call
45 minutes, free. Your highest-value problem, identified and quantified.
02
Impact proposal
Baseline, solution, projected yearly value — and a fixed price, in writing.
03
Design & build
Working software early, feedback weekly — no long silences.
04
Deploy
In production, in your operation, with your team trained.
05
Support & monitoring
We keep measuring after launch — impact is proven over months, not demos.
07 · Shared risk
No surprises: the price exists before the code does.
The guarantee is structural, not a promise on a slide.
Everything agreed up front
Baseline, solution, projected improvement, and price — in writing, before we build.
A 3–5x return, by design
The price is sized so the projected first-year value returns three to five times the investment — and from year two, all of it is yours.
Pays for itself in months
At the agreed projection, the software covers its own price within months of deployment. From there on, it’s margin.
Useful even if we never build
The recognition call and its analysis are yours to keep — whoever you end up building with.
08 · Questions
What we usually get asked.
How exactly do you measure impact?
Together we pick one number the software should move — hours spent, days to invoice, orders per week, revenue per customer. We record the baseline before we build and measure the same number after. The difference is the impact, in your books, visible to both of us.
What if we’re not measuring anything yet?
Then that’s the first step: we set up the systems that measure your operation before anything else. What’s not measured can’t be improved — and once the numbers exist, the baseline, the projection, and the price follow naturally.
How do you set the price?
In the first meetings we record your baseline, agree on the solution, and project the improvement in money per year. The exact price is negotiated there — sized so your return is 3 to 5 times the investment — and fixed in writing before any code.
What return should I expect?
The price is sized so the projected first-year value returns 3 to 5 times what you invest. From year two on, the full value stays with you.
What if the projection is wrong?
The projection is built together, conservatively, on your numbers — not our optimism. And we keep measuring after launch, so both of us see whether reality matches what we agreed.
Who owns the code?
You do — the timing depends on how you pay. Pay in full at deployment and ownership transfers immediately, with documentation and complete access; support and monitoring are an optional service. Prefer not to pay everything up front? Xpansive keeps ownership while you pay monthly for a year — service included — and after that year the code is fully yours.
How fast is a first result?
The first measurable increment is typically in production within weeks, not months.
Do you work remotely and in English?
Yes. We operate from Bogotá for clients across LatAm and worldwide, in Spanish or English.
